Dean Farmhouse dates back to the reign of Queen Anne in 1702. Built with locally quarried stone it has been the home of the Attrill family for many generations. The East Wing and Blacksmith’s Shop lie at the very heart of our picturesque 400 acre working arable farm in our own valley with a small herd of cattle, sheep and chickens. Both properties are extremely well equipped for families, especially those with very young children and babies which makes the farm a great base to explore the Island from.

The south of the Isle of Wight is famous for its fantastic walks and spectacular views. Located only five minutes from the stunning south coast of the Island the farm has easily accessible footpaths leading to unspoilt villages with great pubs, the downs and the sea. Local attractions such as Blackgang Chine Fantasy Theme Park, Godshill Model Village, The Donkey Sanctuary, Isle of Wight Glass and Ventnor Botanical Gardens with Childrens play area are just a walk or short drive away.

Nearby beaches, such as Ventnor and Steephill Cove provide superb safe swimming for the family and the opportunity to buy fresh fish, crab and lobster from the local fishermen.

THE NEW HINDHEAD TUNNEL ALLOWS A JOURNEY TIME FROM CENTRAL LONDON TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT ON THE A3 TO BE 2-2.5 HOURS INCLUDING THE 40 MINUTE FERRY JOURNEY FROM PORTSMOUTH WITH WIGHTLINK.

Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco will also deliver to the farm on your holiday arrival date.
