Self catering farm holiday cottages on Working Family Farm near to the villages of Whitwell, Niton and the town of Ventnor and the great sandy beaches of Ventnor and the celebrated Steephill Cove.

Dean Farmhouse dates back to the reign of Queen Anne in 1702. Built with locally quarried stone it has been the home of the Attrill family for many generations. The East Wing and Blacksmith’s Shop self catering holiday farm cottages lie at the very heart of our picturesque 400 acre working arable farm in our own valley with a small herd of cattle, sheep and chickens. Both properties are extremely well equipped for families, especially those with very young children and babies which makes the farm a great base to explore the Island from.

The south of the Isle of Wight is famous for its fantastic walks and spectacular views. Located only five minutes from the stunning south coast of the Island the farm has easily accessible footpaths leading to the unspoilt villages of Whitwell, Niton and St Lawrence with great pubs, the downs and the sea. Local attractions such as Blackgang Chine Fantasy Theme Park, Godshill Model Village, The Donkey Sanctuary, Isle of Wight Glass and Ventnor Botanical Gardens with Childrens play area are just a coastal walk or short drive away.

Nearby beaches, such as Ventnor, Steephill Cove and Compton provide superb safe swimming or surfing (as seen on the BBC’s Countryfile programme) for the family and the opportunity to buy fresh fish, crab and lobster from the local fishermen.

Dean Farm Holidays are unable to accept Pets in both properties due to our young livestock such as lambs and calves.
